BEE EATER 1 - $ 2700 USD | R 45 000 ZAR | 2.5m x 85cm

This is the first painting in a series of 3 Carmine Bee Eaters. The format of this commission was measured to suit a specific wall in my clients Fresnaye apartment. A muted, single colour sky see the birds' vibrant colours popping off the canvas. The weight of the birds balance each other with the two being as heavy as the one. Dynamic angles compliment each other and keeps your eye comfortably drfifting back and forth along this lengthy canvas. This commission was a wonderful introduction to this bird and saw 3 painting materialise from the request. 

I stick to a simple process that creates a smooth purchace experience. Especially when buying art from abroad. 

• Receive a 50% deposit.
• Share and swop reference pictures if needed.
• Share initial sketches or base applications to start.
• Share progress pictures.
• Share picture of final artwork
• Receive final 50% fee.
• Ship it.

There are two ways to ship:

• Flat pack - Artwork stays on the canvas and shipped as is.
• Rolled - Artwork is destreched, rolled and shipped in a tube.

Flat pack prices to the USA: *Using 120cm x 120cm as a guide.

• 1.2m x 1.2m - Collect and crate (from the artist) : R1900 ZAR, $103 USD | Courier : R8890 ZAR, $482 USD. Total - $585 USD

Rolled prices to the USA:

• 1.2m x 1.2m - Collect / unstretch / tube: R750 ZAR, $40 USD | Courier: R2575 ZAR, $140 USD. Total : $180 USD

*Surcharges on tube sizes bigger the 120cm.
